Perpetuity Training Shows Commitment to Cyber Security by Achieving Government Cyber Essentials Plus Certification
Hampshire, UK, 6th July 2020
Security Management training provider Perpetuity Training is proud to announce that is has been awarded the government Cyber Essentials Plus award this June. Cyber Essentials is a UK government-driven initiative to promote a standard in cyber security practices across all industries and sectors. The scheme is designed to encourage organisations to adopt good security practices to address several common threats and minimise risk; is mandatory for many government and public sector contracts. To obtain certification, organisations must undergo an independent assessment of the security controls they have in place to mitigate risks from internet-borne threats.
After being granted the Cyber Essentials award earlier this year, Perpetuity Training has taken further steps to protect against cyber-crime and has undergone extensive inspections and hands-on technical verification checks to achieve the Cyber Essentials Plus Award. This award ensures compliance with the five government recognised levels of information security: Boundary Firewalls; Secure Configuration; Patch Management; Malware Protection and Access Management.
Perpetuity Training has over 18 years’ experience delivering classroom and online security management training. Cyber security is one of the company’s top priorities and the hard work given in order to achieve the Cyber Essentials Plus award demonstrates the business’s dedication to securing learners and clients against cyber threats.
