The Linx International Group and The Security Event

Partnering with The Security Event, Tavcom will be hosting their Tavcom Training Theatre at next years event from 28-30 April 2020, NEC Birmingham.  Bringing security professionals together through educating, training, learning as well as adding to the professional development of installers, engineers, technicians and end-users in the security sector.

Multi-award winning Tavcom Training is renowned as the ‘premier provider’ of accredited and practical technical security training courses. Tavcom Training’s world-class facilities, expert trainers and courses have educated thousands working in our industry. Being vendor agnostic, Tavcom Training teaches the core technical concepts rather than benchmark one manufacturer against another. It is this focus that makes Tavcom Training so popular allowing learners to be able to gain globally-recognised qualifications and apply their knowledge to the latest technology.

Tavcom Training’s commitment to raising professional standards in the security & fire industry has seen the launch of the Certified Technical Security Professional Register. The CTSP Register which is endorsed by the BSIA and SSAIB, lists the names and competencies of individual registrants, and will have an added presence throughout the event.

The Security Event marks a key change in the UK Security event landscape. Hosted in the Midlands at The NEC Birmingham, it offers a significant new choice for the UK’s commercial and residential security sector. Having rapidly established industry-wide interest, The Security Event continues to attract leading businesses including Tavcom Training.

David Gill, Chief Executive of the Linx International Group comments “We are all delighted that Tavcom Training are partnering with The Security Event. The CTSP Register was formed in 2017 as a means of recognising the competency of technical security professionals fulfilling roles in the security and fire systems sectors.  This includes Engineers/Technicians (Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning), System Designers, Auditors and Consultants.  It allows consumers, employers and contractors to search the register to validate professional competence. Today security practitioners working the UK and as far afield as the UAE, Ukraine, Romania and Australia are able to use the CTSP post-nominal and are represented on the public online Register.
